What is Noun ? Definition of Noun: Noun  is the word used to name/indicate a person, place, animal, thing, abstract ideas or emotions. Noun comes under the  Parts of speech . OR In space or till infinity, whatever exists(e.g., Sun, Moon, Light, Planets, Earth, Human, Animal or anything) can be given a name, and that particular name is known as Noun.
