Learn how to upgrade the RAM of your Laptop yourself.

If you often find that your laptop or computer struggles to run certain programs due to insufficient RAM, upgrading the Random Access Memory chip is the obvious solution. Rather than seeking professional help and incurring additional expenses, why not tackle the task yourself? Not only will you save money, but you'll also avoid any potential headaches and mess. In this post, we'll provide simple and easy steps for upgrading your laptop or computer's RAM - ideal for improving performance when running programs or playing computer games.

When it comes to improving the performance of your computer or laptop, upgrading your Random Access Memory (RAM) is often necessary. There are a few reasons why you may want to upgrade your RAM. Firstly, if you enjoy playing computer games, especially high definition ones that require more memory than free or low-memory games, upgrading your RAM is a must. Secondly, if you want to impress your friends and colleagues who have computers or laptops with higher configurations, upgrading your RAM can help achieve this.

Moreover, having sufficient RAM is also important for multitasking and running multiple programs at the same time. To ensure smooth functioning of these programs and for an optimal gaming experience, it is recommended that one should upgrade their RAM to at least 1GB or higher.

In summary, upgrading the RAM of your laptop or computer can significantly enhance its performance and enable you to run more demanding programs smoothly such as computer games.

Below are instructions on how to do this:

1) Remove the laptop from charging and remove the laptop battery immediately. Also disconnect any other external cables (eg modem, USB, etc.). (Be sure to turn off the system before doing these steps!)

 2) Now locate the RAM on the back of the laptop (not a difficult step for someone who has been using the same Laptop for months or years) and unscrew the RAM cover with a compact screwdriver.

3) Now remove the old RAM chip from the laptop's RAM module.

4) Then stick the new RAM chip into the same RAM module and make sure you lock it nicely.

5) Now close the back cover (RAM cover) of the laptop.

6) Reconnect the battery and now turn on the laptop.

7) You are done!

Yeah, it is that simple.

Note: Mainly there are given two RAM slots on Computers where one remain vacant. So, if your Laptop too is having two RAM slots, then don't get confused and simply use the one which was already in use from before.

Apple wins the patent case against Samsung: Court declared penalty of 1 billion USD on Samsung.

Introduction:

This article deals with the news about Apple-Samsung patent case. Being a news, it is not at all owned by me. I have just tried to give this news in a little brief with a bit of inspiration from a report from New York Times News Services, New York.

A report from New York Times News Services, New York:  Samsung has to pay much to Apple in damages for copying the features and design of their smartphones from Apple. Apple and Samsung are two most popular mobile making companies. Apple had filed case on Samsung against copying the features and physical design for their smartphones from Apple’s smartphones. Apple has won the case finally, and the court of America has found Samsung as culprit of copying their features from Apple. The American court has declared a big penalty of 1 billion USD on Samsung, though Samsung has said that they will appeal to the court for changing their decision again, and will appeal into higher court for having another look on the situation, if fails.

Apple had listed 28 Samsung products as the copy of their products, from which they had blamed for copying 7 of their patents by Samsung.

Samsung had also been found guilty by another Jury, Earlier.

Before, a Jury of 9 people had found that several products of Samsung had hit on Apple’s patent. Samsung had also been found a culprit of copying the patent of physical design from Apple. Though, it cannot be considered a very big economic loss to Samsung, but it has been stated that other mobile/smartphone production companies will have to pay more care before making/launching a new product in the market.

What has been found copied from Apple by Samsung?

Among others, some major features like- pinch-to-zoom, multi-touch gesture, single fingure scrolling, tap-to-zoom, the bounce back scrolling effects and even the design of Apple smartphones are found to be copied by Samsung from Apple’s smartphone. Also the TouchWiz UI also copies several design elements of iOS. A number of other features are also found in several Android smartphones.
The court said that the patent from Apple are valid, and they have not copied anything from Samsung. Actually Samsung had also blamed on Apple for copying the design and features of their products.

It’s a big loss to customers, said Samsung.

Samsung said this decision should not be treated as the victory of Apple, rather as big loss to customers itself. After this decision of court, the products will lack newness and there will remain much choices for customers to select from.  Even, the prices of products will also increase.
Though, it may take time(months or even years) for this idea to be implemented as Samsung will be appealing in higher courts to change this decision. And so, it may also take months before Samsung pays those million US dollars to Apple.

Conclusion on the whole Apple-Samsung patent copying fight:

Below is a small video clip, where Steve Jobs says:

"We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas" during an interview.

What else can we says as conclusion here..! ;)

Beware of Hackers: They can get into your brain in no time.

Introduction:

Believe it or not, but scientists have claimed that it is not that difficult to get into a human brain. They said: a technology worth a few thousand dollars, can retrieve useful information out from the person’s brain, through hacking. This article deals with the brief descrition about this brain hacking technology issue.

BCI: Off the Self Emotive brain.

The group of scientists and researchers from  ‘University of Oxford’,  ‘Geneva and University of California, Burkley’ have shown the demo of this human brain hacking technology with the help of ‘Off the Self-Emotive Brain Computer Interface(B.C.I.)’.

This technology gets ready to use in some thousand dollars. In the experiment, the people were made set before a computer screen and said to wear a head piece on their ears. And it was really amazing and shocking to see that just by punching some buttons on keyboard, there were images of  the maps storing the places, bank account details, pin codes and passwords on the computer’s screen. The researchers then tracked the ‘P300’ signal of human brains, which takes out several important information with it, when made attracted in a positive/working manner. The scientists then tried to find some useful details related to the person, by collecting and examining the reports received during the experiments, and founded that the people who had wore the BCI headset, were continuously sending information to the computer, as a result for which the details and useful information etc could be easily tracked through this technology.

The Human Brain can be attacked in the ultimately advanced manner, says Discovery News.

The Discovery News channel said from the points of Scientist, that the results of this research tells that human brains can be attacked by this technology in the most advanced manner of Science and Technology.  Several information can be taken out of someone’s brain by simply engaging him/her in a ‘Mind game’.
Scientists said: “As per the Science & Technologies and Electronic devices are getting more advanced, the risks and possibility of successful attacks is also getting increased with time”.

There are several  merits and demerits of such technologies in human life-

On a side, it extends risks that the passwords of your various e-mails and social networking sites are in a great danger, and your information will be easily stolen, perhaps all without letting even you know about it. But it may also be helpful in the treatment of the patients suffering/experiencing memory loss or weak memory problems.

Suppose, you are passing by a street or a building, and the advanced camera there is scanning all your brain for useful information like your personal locker's password, your bank account details and everything in that single second of time. Isn't that freaking? One won't be able to even come out of their houses then!

Diversify Your Revenue Streams: Alternatives to Google AdSense for Monetizing Your Blog

As a blogger, you may be aware of the potential to monetize your website through advertising. Google AdSense is one of the most popular advertising platforms for bloggers, but it's not the only one. In fact, relying solely on AdSense may limit your earning potential. In this article, we’ll explore some of the best alternatives to Google AdSense for monetizing your blog and diversifying your revenue streams.

Monetizing your Blog

Monetizing your blog or website is all about making money from your online presence. As a blogger, you have the potential to earn money through advertising, affiliate marketing, sponsored content, and other passive income streams.

While there are many ways to monetize your blog, Google AdSense is a popular choice among bloggers. It’s a simple and easy way to make money from your website by displaying ads that are relevant to your content. However, it can be challenging to get approved for AdSense, and even if you do get approved, your earnings may be limited.

Overview of Google AdSense: its popularity among bloggers

Google AdSense is an advertising program that allows website owners to display ads on their site and earn money when visitors click on those ads. Advertisers pay Google to display their ads, and Google pays a portion of that money to the website owner.

AdSense is popular among bloggers because it’s easy to use and doesn’t require any technical knowledge. All you need to do is sign up for an account, copy and paste a small piece of code onto your website, and Google will start displaying ads that are relevant to your content.

However, there are some downsides to AdSense. First, it can be challenging to get approved for an account, especially if your website is new or doesn't meet Google's guidelines. Second, the earnings from AdSense can be limited, particularly if you don't have a lot of traffic or if your audience isn't interested in the ads.

Google AdSense alternatives - Why Consider them?

If you're looking to monetize your blog or website, it's essential to diversify your revenue streams. Relying solely on AdSense can limit your earning potential and make you vulnerable to changes in the market or changes in Google's policies.

By exploring alternative ways to monetize your blog, you can increase your earnings and reduce your reliance on AdSense. Additionally, by diversifying your revenue streams, you can protect yourself against any changes or fluctuations in the market.

Best alternatives to Google AdSense for Monetizing your Blog

  1. Affiliate marketing as an alternative to Google AdSense

Affiliate marketing is a popular way for bloggers to make money from their website. In affiliate marketing, you promote other people's products or services on your website, and you earn a commission when someone clicks on your affiliate link and makes a purchase.

One of the most popular affiliate marketing programs for bloggers is Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate, you can earn up to 10% commission on any products that your audience purchases through your affiliate link. Other popular affiliate marketing programs for bloggers include ShareASale, Commission Junction, and Clickbank.

  1. Sponsored content and sponsored posts as an alternative to Google AdSense

Sponsored content is another popular way for bloggers to make money from their website. In sponsored content, you write a post or create a video that promotes a brand or a product, and you're paid for your work.

To find sponsored content opportunities, you can reach out to brands directly or work with a sponsored content agency. When negotiating rates for sponsored content, it's essential to consider factors like your audience size, engagement, and the amount of work required.

  1. Display advertising networks as an alternative to Google AdSense

Display advertising networks are another way to monetize your blog. These networks work by displaying ads on your website and paying you based on the number of impressions or clicks that the ads receive.

Some popular display advertising networks include Mediavine, AdThrive, and Ezoic. To join these networks, you'll need to meet specific requirements, such as a minimum number of pageviews per month.

  1. Native Advertising: Taboola and Outbrain

Native advertising is a form of advertising that blends in with the content on your website. Taboola and Outbrain are two popular native advertising networks that work by displaying sponsored content recommendations at the bottom of your articles.

Native advertising can be an excellent way to monetize your blog without disrupting the user experience or overwhelming your audience with ads.

Tips for maximizing your earnings with AdSense alternatives

Once you've chosen an alternative to AdSense, there are several tips you can use to maximize your earnings:

  • Choose products or services that are relevant to your audience and your content.
  • Create high-quality content that provides value to your audience.
  • Promote your affiliate links or sponsored content in a way that's natural and non-intrusive.
  • Test different ad formats, placements, and networks to see what works best for your website.

Other passive income streams to consider for your blog

In addition to affiliate marketing, sponsored content, and display advertising, there are other passive income streams that you can consider for your blog. These include:

  • Selling digital products like ebooks, courses, or printables
  • Offering consulting or coaching services
  • Selling physical products like merchandise or print-on-demand items
  • Offering premium content or membership programs

Tips for choosing the best AdSense alternative for your blog

When choosing an alternative to AdSense, it's essential to consider factors like your audience, your content, and your goals. Here are some tips to help you choose the best AdSense alternative for your blog:

  • Consider your niche and the products or services that are relevant to your audience.

Aliens Arrival: NASA's Curiosity Rover sent photos of white dancing light and four dot-like objects from Mars.

Intdroduction:

This post contains a little but a very big news for all those who believes in the existence of life on other planets, specially Mars and now Moon of Saturn also. This article will let you know about the latest news about the pictures sent to NASA by Curiosity Rover which is showing some movement on the planet Mars.

The American Space Agency NASA's Curiosity Rover, which had successfully landed on the Mars on August 6, 2012 has sent some amazing photos back to NASA. Photos sent by Curiosity are showing white light moving and dancing on Red Planet's horizon and  on the other side, four dot-like structures are being seen floating on the sky of the Mars planet. This news has surely increased the heartbeats of those who believe that there is life on the Mars. These people have even claimed that aliens have already started secretly keeping a watch on Earth-ians' steps and on Mars. And they are keeping a full watch on activities of Curiosity Rover.

An image issued by NASA showing the movement of rear right wheel of Curiosity.

Another photo issued by NASA showing some noticable movement in the environment.

A report issued by the Daily mail, London says like:
  • NASA has not done any comments as yet about the possibilities of Alien/UFO's on the Mars.
  • NASA and some other photography experts have stated it as wrong to make any decision from these photos, as that is nothing more than the blemishes that have came upon the lens of the camera.
  • On some returned images from the Curiosity, strange pinpoints appear in the sky - are they spaceships, or just abnormalities on the camera?
  • Read more on the report here: Curiosity Rover spots mysterious 'UFO' zooming across the red planet's horizon.

Stephen Henard Edguck, from the 'Alien Discloser' group of Britain when examined and filtered the photos issued on NASA's website through various filters, said there are four 'objects' in these photos, and because they are not having the main/root pictures, they have done their research on these pictures only.

Many Questions arises in everyone's brain over the existence of Aliens on the Mars, after the amazing photos sent by NASA's Curiosity:

  • Even if those are some blemishes on the camera lens, still the question remains about the movement that has been noticed as the dancing lights. Blemishes on the camera lens may show dots in the photos, but they cannot make a white bright light dance like anything. What is that white and bright light?
  • What those dots really are? Does that mean aliens are keeping a track on our activities on their planet?
  • If aliens exist, then what type of nature they may be having? Are they harmful to us?
  • So, Aren't we alone in the space?
  • And so on ...

How to Get Google AdSense Approved Faster in 2023

[Updated on April, 2023]

Google AdSense is a widely known and frequently used advertising program among bloggers and website owners. It provides an opportunity to earn money by displaying ads on your website or blog. However, getting your AdSense account approved can be a challenging task, as nowadays, Google has become quite strict in approving AdSense applications. In this article, we will discuss some useful tips that can help you get your AdSense account approved quickly.

Google AdSense approval tips
Google AdSense logo

Choosing a Top-Level Domain.

If you are serious about your goal, then better use Top-Level Domains (websitename.Com) instead of sub-domains (blogname.mainsitename.Com). Most of the website and blog owners say the same, that the one using Top-Level Domain gets his/her account approved sooner and more easily, while the one using a sub-domain faces more problems of disapproval and long waitings.

You can buy one (Top-Level Domain) from GoDaddy, Bigrock, BuyDomains etc.

Though, a blog on a domain like BlogSpot or WordPress can get approved by posting rich and quality content to the blog. Many such bloggers are happily earning with their sub-domains(blogs). Well, still better to use a Top-Level Domain.

Choose the Right Website/Blog Design

The look of your website/blog should be visitor-friendly. Avoid making a rainbow with unusual text or background colour, and do not use too bright or dark colours for the background. Remember, a nice format and design can attract more visitors to your website/blog. If the blog looks cheap and ugly, then ultimately the visitor will run far away from your blog and is never going to come back again.
Don't forget to Add Essential Pages

Google requires specific pages to be present on websites before AdSense approval. These pages include a Privacy Policy page, a Contact Us page, and a Terms of Service page. These pages demonstrate that you have a professional and legitimate website.

A Privacy Policy page is required by law in many countries and explains to your users how their personal data is collected and used. A Contact Us page provides a way for your users to get in touch with you, and a Terms of Service page outlines the terms and conditions of using your website.

Make sure all these pages are present on your website and easily accessible from your homepage. Creating these pages is easy, and you can use free online tools to create them if you don't have the expertise to write them yourself.

Content of Your Website/Blog: Create High-Quality, Original Content

Creating high-quality, original content is the first and most important step to getting approved for AdSense. Google prioritizes websites that provide value to their users with informative, engaging, and original content. So, focus on creating content that adds value to your readers and avoid using duplicate or spun content.

A significant number of AdSense applications are disapproved because the blog or site has not been made AdSense-friendly. Therefore, always try your best to make your blog/website AdSense-friendly.

When you write about something, make proper use of grammar and punctuation. Avoid putting extra dots, exclamation marks, or question marks. The key to fast approval is to write good content and focus on hot topics. After posting a minimum of 10 to 15 articles on your blog or website, you can try your luck and apply for AdSense. Avoid posting prohibited aka inappropriate or adult content.

Google's algorithms are also designed to detect and penalize websites that use duplicate or spun content. Therefore, it's important to create unique and original content that's not only useful but also engaging for your audience. Make sure your content is well-researched, informative, and provides value to your readers.

Build Quality Backlinks

Backlinks are important for both website traffic and AdSense earning. Google looks for quality backlinks from reputable websites that are relevant to your niche. Avoid using shady link-building tactics, as this can hurt your chances of getting approved or making money from AdSense.

Instead, focus on creating high-quality content that other websites will want to link to naturally. Reach out to other website owners in your niche and ask them to link to your website. This can help you build relationships with other bloggers and increase your visibility in your niche.

Improve Your Website Traffic

While this is not seen as a direct factor, your website/blog traffic can prove an important factor in AdSense approval. AdSense also has conditions for a range of countries where your blog or domain is required to be at least six months old when you are submitting the application. Thus, it is evidential to say that the online presence and visibility of your blog matters to them. Focus on creating high-quality content that's optimized for search engines. Use relevant keywords in your content and meta tags, and make sure your website is properly optimized for SEO. Promote your content on social media and other websites to attract more visitors.

Improving your website's traffic can be achieved through various methods such as social media marketing, email marketing, and search engine optimization. The more traffic you generate, the more likely you are to get AdSense approval and increase your revenue in the long run.
Be Patient

Getting approved for AdSense takes time and patience. Google receives thousands of applications every day, and it can take several weeks or even months for your application to be reviewed. During this time, continue to focus on creating high-quality content and improving your website traffic.

It's important to be patient and not rush the approval process. Avoid applying for AdSense until your website meets all the requirements mentioned in this article. This will increase your chances of getting approved and also ensure that your website complies with AdSense policies.

Use Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free tool that allows you to track your website traffic and user behavior. Using Google Analytics can help you identify areas of your website that need improvement. Make improvements to your website based on these insights to improve your chances of getting approved for AdSense.

Google Analytics provides valuable insights such as user demographics, user behavior, and traffic sources. These insights can help you identify which pages on your website are performing well and which ones need improvement. Use this information to optimize your content and improve your website's overall performance.

Filling up an AdSense Application

When filling out the AdSense application form, you must take extra care while entering your details. Even a small mistake can get your application disapproved by the AdSense team. Therefore, check your filled details thrice before submitting them to Google AdSense. It is always better to get your address and other details checked by other adult members of the family to lower the chance of mistakes.

Also, make sure you have submitted only one application at a time.

If you are re-applying, you should first correct the mistakes or requirements mentioned by AdSense at the time of disapproval. Wait at least a month or two before re-applying.
